«Museum-Reserve»

The Moscow State Integrated Art and Historical, Architectural and Natural Landscape Museum-Reserve established in 2005 on the basis of the Kolomenskoye Museum, unites most interesting historical, cultural and landscape sites of Moscow, namely:

  • old villages of Kolomenskoye and Diakovo, where an ensemble of buildings is located that made part of the ancient Russian Tsar’s residence;
  • part of the Tsar’s residence in Izmailovo;
  • the Lefortovo palace and park ensemble;
  • the Ljublino estate.

The modern multi-profile Museum complex permits to trace the four-hundred-year process of evolution of the Moscow estate and carries out scientific, educational, social, cultural, recreational, and nature-conservative functions.
